The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards is the UK’s largest and most admired awards programme, celebrating the best of the best of British business

And now, we are very pleased to announce that Sweet Projects is joining the distinguished list of award nominees, as a finalist for The Growth Business of the Year Award 2023.

The nomination process had to prove growth across a range of metrics and a robust plan to deliver sustained future financial success and impact, and was analysed across four areas of Employee & Customer Engagement, Leadership & Innovation, Organisational Ethics & Policies and Financial Performance & Growth.

“From our heartland in Bristol, right across the UK, and into European projects, we’re delighted to have been recognised for such a renowned and recognised award,” says Gareth Sweet, CEO of Sweet Projects.

“I am incredibly proud of the whole Sweet Projects team for their ability and endeavour to prove our worth and impress the judges – while at the same time continuing to sustainably grow the business at an incredible rate.”

A record number of local businesses, SMEs and FTSE 100 companies have applied to the prestigious awards this year, across eighteen awards categories.

“In a challenging year, with an unprecedented number of entries, the Executive Board, Senior Leadership Team and whole company should feel incredibly proud – everyone has played their part in this remarkable achievement,” adds Gareth.

Sweet Projects will now present to a panel of judges in London this September, for the opportunity to be named Growth Business of the Year 2023, in a tough category of 12 other fast-growing UK firms.
