We’re pleased to announce the appointment of our new Technical Director, Roy Andrade, who has joined the Executive Board this week.
Roy will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of construction, including design, engineering, and specifications, as well as providing technical leadership across multiple disciplines.
Commenting on the appointment, Andy Heyes MD said: “Roy has a wealth of experience working on major projects both in the UK and internationally that will further support our ambitions for further growth during the next few years, and will add an additional dynamic to our service capability.”
Roy has more than 35 years’ experience in construction, previously holding senior level positions at M+W Exyte, Buro Happold and ISG, to name but a few, and joins us latterly from NG Bailey.
He was also responsible for several major initiatives including as Engineering Director to implement a brand new offshore engineering centre in Hyderabad, India, and leading an international multi-disciplinary design and engineering team for the design of a 40,000m2 semiconductor manufacturing facility in Ireland.
“I am excited to be working with the current dynamic management team and supporting the business growth going forward,” said Roy, who has experience of various sectors, including leading edge clean-room environments, high technology manufacturing, life sciences and nuclear decommissioning.
