As we wrap up our celebrations of Careers in Construction Month, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the insights we’ve had from our talented team. This month has been about more than just highlighting roles – it’s been about showcasing the passion of our ‘Sweet People’ in all that they do. 

Throughout October, we’ve brought you the voices behind our projects, from technical managers and project leaders to those supporting our teams.

Andrew Waugh shared his journey to mastering complex design coordination, while Russell Smith discussed the importance of values alignment for anyone considering a career with us.

Ian Dovey illustrated the power of understanding client concerns to deliver seamless project experiences and Toni Da Costa shared a story of teamwork that emphasises our family-like culture.

Mark Musselwhite demonstrated that blending individual strengths across the team led to a successful, high-quality submission in a complex tender process.

Tom Beardmore proudly shared his team’s achievements in the Considerate Constructors Scheme, highlighting our dedication to quality, safety and community engagement as we set new industry benchmarks.

Suraj Balra described how the team stepped up when a colleague needed extended leave, redistributing tasks and maintaining quality and momentum through teamwork, communication and unwavering commitment.
