£83k+ Raised So Far in 2025 – And We’re Just Getting Started

Date: June 6, 2025
Sweet Projects caring for the community

At Sweet Projects, sustainability goes beyond carbon and climate. It’s about people. It’s about community. And it’s about stepping up where it really matters.

We don’t just talk about giving back – we act on it. From donating thousands to grassroots initiatives, to rolling up our sleeves in support of powerful causes, we’re committed to building a better future – inside and outside our industry.

Our 2025 Impact So Far

In the first half of 2025, here’s what we’ve been up to:

  • £83,000+ raised and donated to causes that matter.
  • Nine bags of unbranded workwear donated to help the homeless – giving surplus kit a second life.
  • Jamie’s Farm – funding and physical support at their sixth site, with a 3-year commitment now in place.
  • Sartan Boxing Club – backing youth development in a deprived part of Bristol.
  • Beds, gifts, and essentials provided to families through South Bristol Children and Young People’s Services.
  • 91kg of food donated to Slough Foodbank.
  • Fundraising heroes in our team:
  • Business in the Community – mentoring, coaching and befriending jobseekers.
  • Anti Banquet Sponsorship – £18k towards an unforgettable night tackling food insecurity in Bristol.
  • Sponsoring Team GB Kickboxer Ninja North.
  • Furniture donated to The Salvation Army – all proceeds to charity.
  • Funding support for the children of parents impacted by drugs and alcohol through the Bristol Drugs Project (BDP).
  • Sporting Chance Project – supporting children outside mainstream education.

What’s Next?

We’re not slowing down – we’re just getting started, and have more initiatives to look forward to, including:

  • Andrew Waugh, our Technical Engineer, is running the 5-mile loop this June for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
  • We’re sponsoring the STEVE event on 18 June – focused on transforming men’s mental health. Sweet Projects’ MD, Scott Poulter and People & Performance Director, Manley Hopkinson, will both speak at the event.
  • Even more colleagues are enrolling in Business in the Community initiatives – giving time, skills and real-world advice to jobseekers.

Building A Better Future – Together

Our people go the extra mile, and we’re proud to back them every step of the way. Community and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do here at Sweet Projects, whether we’re building complex data centres or supporting a local food bank.

We’re continually raising the bar for what’s possible in the construction industry, both on-site and off.
