The Union Park data centre has over 2,700 piles in its foundation design across the whole data centre – the last of which was installed in February 2022.
The vast majority installed were Continuous Helical Displacement (CHD) method piles, which bring a reduction in waste going off-site and minimise the vibration output of the piling works. All part of our efforts to create sustainable data centres.
