Union Park represents an investment in excess of £800 million and includes a new data centre campus of some 56,000m2, consisting of a dedicated substation, multiple Modular Data Centres and ancillary facilities.

The Data Centre will provide 100 per cent renewable sources of power from the National Grid to provide the main power source to the data centre.  Gas generators will provide backup power in the event of a mains power failure. This would make it the first data centre of scale in the country to no longer be reliant on diesel backup generators with a reduction on air emissions of up to 80%.
